Peer Observation aims to;
- provide a developmental and formative process by which instructors support each other in enhancing their teaching practices within an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality,
- provide an opportunity for collaborative exploration facilitated by rich reflection on teaching and learning issues and encouraging the sharing of ideas and planning to further improve teaching practices.
Video Observation aims to;
- collect data on classroom interaction, which can help both the teacher and learners to discover more about what happens in his/her language lesson,
- help the teacher reflect on his/her teaching independently and objectively.
